Burn-In
This is primarily due to the fact that many times a system has more than one problem, or the problem was not correctly identified. Micro 2000’s Burn-In, when combined with inital hardware verification by Micro-Scope (Micro 2000’s bench diagnostic), reduces the number of returned systems dramatically.
Configurable Automation with Easy Setup—Burn-In can be configured with a variety of options. The technician can make numerous setting choices including which diagnostics to run, where to send the log file, and the duration of the procedure. The settings can easily be changed to allow for maximum customization. If tests are selected for hardware that is not present in the system, then those tests will not be performed. This allows the default suite of tests to be run on many different hardware configurations without the need for script files or re-configuring the testing.
Computer repair facilities report that as many as 40% of the new or repaired systems are returned with similar or additional problems.
